JGMQC builds on the 23 year career of Dr Jonathan Middle, recently retired as Consultant EQA Scientist, Deputy Director and Quality Manager of Birmingham Quality (UK NEQAS Birmingham). Throughtout his career, as an extension to his EQA service and educational role, Jonathan has organised scientific meetings and conferences at all scales from 20 - 400 delegates and from half day to three day meetings. JGMQC provides individually tailored services to the NHS, Department of Health, professional bodies, diagnostic industry, clinical laboratories and Universities. Jonathan has a strict no-competition rule regarding AQMLM and UK NEQAS.
Projects and consultancy regarded to be more appropriate to these
organisations will be referred to them in the first instance.
Jonathan is also engaged in a variety of unpaid activities related to his interests and experience.
May 2012 : Jonathan has been awarded a Fellowship by the Association for Clinical Biochemistry, for his "Outstanding contribution to Clinical Biochemistry in the UK". He receives this award at a lunch with the ACB Council on 5th July 2012.
